Hello,

Could anyone tell me what the value is for the John Powers & Sons Irish Whiskey Gold Label bottle that is at least 22 years old.

Thanks,

The image I have is too large for this website.

Not sure how to create a smaller that is under 256 KB.

Not sure it is worth a whole pile to be honest but it is an interesting bottle all the same. Where did was it bought/brought from? And where are you based?

1.125L size is quite unusual and it is @ 43% so probably an export bottling. (Italy/South Africa???) Any labeling on the rear to say what country it was exported to?

However as regards to old bottlings it would not be considered very old. Maybe from the 90's or even 80's but not a great age for such a common type of product.

This may have some curiosity value though because of the unusual bottle size.

Those were the standard pub size until 15 or so years ago. It's a 40oz bottle. It would never be seen in off licences or supermarkets.
The value wouldn't be huge as IWC says. It's possible it's an 80's bottle.
