Vote for your favourite Irish distillery - in terms of their produce...

Hmm, I'm completely torn...

Let's see, which distillery would I most like to own?

Impossible question to answer in one way but I'd probably have to be honest and go for Midleton.

As in "Terms of Produce" I think I would have slightly more favourites from IDL than the others. However in "Precentage Terms of Produce" it would be Bushmills. And in "terms of most interesting produce" it has to be Cooley.

For me
from IDL
Jameson 12yo, Greenspot, Redbreast 15yo, Powers nas & 12yo are most goto bottlings from them.

Bushmills would be

Blackbush, Bushmills 1608 & Single Sherry casks (uuummmm 8-) )

Cooley

Tyrconnell 10yo Maderia, COnnemara Cask strength & single casks, Cadenheads single casks as well as numerous single cask independents.

Where do youi draw the line

Very mean poll there JohnM

Well, it doesn't mean anything, really. They're all good distilleries, making differnt kinds of whiskey. It's hard to compare the different kinds.

Midleton for capacity and keeping the heritage brands alive.
Cooley for range and innovation.
Bushmills for quality at every turn.

I'd agree it's impossible to pick one of the three over the others as they are all great in their own ways . If I really had to choose I'd go for Midleton but that's just down to my Cork roots :)

+1, I have to agree with you IWC

I would say that Connemara C/S is my best Irish Whiskey but when i think of the outstanding variety Midleton offers..... Jameson 12 & 18,15 PPS, Gold - Redbreast 12 & 15 - Green Spot - Midleton VR -
