What are your favourite Whiskey styles?

Ok a bit of fun ...

You can pick up to 3 choices.

What are your favourite Whisk(e)y styles?

Chose your top 3 styles that you prefer and feel free to discus.

I have not differentiated between Scotch or Irish single malt in general.

I have also listed Islay as a heavily peated style (which is not neccessairly a correct assumption) and ignored any other scottish region as a style persay.

There are so many axes in this poll (finishes / malt-blend / Irish-Scottish / etc) that it's impossible to answer. My favourite whiskey (Tyrconnell 15yo) is not even covered by these options! I'd like to see a bunch of polls, one per axis.

And what about Bourbon Barrel aged :?:

(I should of included Single Malt in that option but forgot) and failing all else there is other

I purposely left it as basic as possible as I was looking to see what peoples general style preferences are rather than their favourite brand of whiskey.

My bad! I looked down the whole list several times and couldn't figure out how to select "Irish single malts". Irish blends and Irish PPS are both there. Why are you harshing on the malts, dude?

I purposely left it as basic as possible
