Tullamore Dew 2000

Let's talk whiskey.

Tullamore Dew 2000

Has anyone come across this before? I found a green Tullamore Dew ceramic with 2000 written on it, but had not know about this before. I'll get a picture if I can. Maybe I'm the only one who never heard of this bottling.

Hi there,

Yes it was released for the millennium, it was the standard green Tullamore Dew with the year 2000 printed on the bottle (I think the box has a reference too!)...

Powers 12yo Millennium Edition & Bushmills Special Reserve Millennium Edition are in the same category... regular release with the year 2000 added to the batches produced in 1999 for the millennium.

Cheers TWB

Another fairly bogstandard Tullamore Dew

I've seen a good few pop up from time to time and like all Tullamores not overly valuable.

Maybe not valuable, but a nice one to have all the same. I have the Millennium versions of everything else, so it would be nice to have this one. Actually, I don't have a Paddy one. Does one exist?

I doubt it but if you like I can write 2000 on a bottle of paddy and flog it to you for €100, guaranteed the genuine article!

I'm no fool, so I'll only do the deal if you also write "Bottle 1 of 100 - pure pot still Millennium edition" on it - while you have the crayon in your hand.

Consider it done. Then you can sell it to Ally for €150.

Then I can buy it back from Ally for €200.

Then I'll sell it to you for €250. You can sell it on for €300. I'll buy it back for €350. And so on.

We'll each make €50 each time. If we do it often enough then this time next year we'll all be millionaires.

Yes in that context a nice one to have ...

It is strange but I have always found it hard to get excited about Tullamore

Me neither. I have no Tullamore Crocks in my collection.

Likewise - It probably doesn't help that I really can't stand the whiskey. Most things I collect I have at least some vague notion of collecting.
