Have they any plans to have a 30th anniversary edition?
It would make a great tasting,to compare with the 20th anniversary courtesy of Zoltan of course

In Aldi this Sunday, The Cooley Collection. It's that presentation pack of minis you can get in Kilbeggan. A very nice gift for €12.99.

Hi Ken,
I think you got a good bargain there, I was in O'Briens today and they were selling it for €145 & not a penny less!
Well played.

I picked up the Pot Still Collection recently for €302.88. My Christmas present to myself.
If you pieced them out it would be €45 for the Greenspot, €165 for the Barry Crockett, €55 for the Powers John's lane and €70 for the cask strength Redbreast.
that's a €30+ nearly enough to buy a Jameson 12.
I eager to get the display plinth now but not at €150

anyone got a better source?

Greenore 18 year old limited edition on sale in Kilbeggan whiskey bar €70. A friend got me a bottle instead of the Kilbeggan 18 year old which was sold out.

Just to correct the above post,

the Greenore 18 is on sale from 80 to €70
Kilbeggan 18 from 90 to €80, and they have stock of that too (so it is not sold out) at the distillery shop

Loch Lomond have released a 1966, which you can get for £85. I think it's the year the distillery opened.

A strange distillery that gets mixed reviewed, but the price of this looks good.

I was checking to see if finewines.ie had any bargains. There is a branch i go to in Tralee when i'm down visiting the bro.
I came across this Bottle of Jack Daniels for €100636.00( Hopefully they have it still up when this is read)

http://www.finewines.ie/jack-daniels/50 ... 473pd.html

I'm assuming it's a new government directive to discourage binge drinking?

It's part of our new trade deal with China. We get the use of their cyber division to "adjust" spirit prices all over the web in favour of our domestic industry.

That's excellent as it is all being sold as a collectable now, It's actually the original RRP so they are still making a few quid.

Is there any of this left in the Distillery shop does anybody know?

I wounder what special offers will be available in Irish off licences. :|
