Money off the Cooley range. Interesting that they've sold 175 bottles of Cooley whiskies over the course of about a week.

Lidl's Dundalgan is €12.99! (€3 off)

I'm not recommending it, but that's a very eye-catching price for Irish whiskey (in Ireland).

Thanks for posting DublinGus ... an interesting but very welcome development that The Visitor center is now stocking the Greenspot. Up to this Greenspot was solely distributed by Mitchel's but this may herald a more wider distribution network. The Midleton Visitor may have these also so.

Hi Adrian, hopefully the supermarkets will stock green spot which will mean better value for us all!
Is the Midelton shop bigger than the Bow Lane shop?

Got a bottle of Powers at The Loop for 79 cent... And a bottle of their Midleton for slightly more - a lot more... They didn't have too much of the Midleton left, really. I'd say it will be gone soon, to be replaced by a 21 yr old single cask from Midleton.

Don't think you will ever see this as it is a small batch product and possibly will stay that way even if they do increase the amount a fair bit.

The Midleton shop is bigger alright but not huge by any means at the same time. Of course in Midleton they have Powers, Midleton & redbreast brands on sale also ... not sure about Bow St as it's been a while since I've been there and can't remember what they have. Also would have far more merchandising items (clothes, glasses and knick knacks) on sale, pretty much all Jameson though.

Paddy 700ml €18 TESCO

Great value, that price will never be beaten!

Bushmills white bush €18.50 I think, but the self was empty!! If kept at that price I'd say it might shorten the mighty gap between itself and Jameson sales wise.

Hi DublinGus,

To be honest, I don't think you got any bargains there. The €160 for the Midleton is the RRP, as I'm almost sure is the case with the Redbreast 12yo? The 15yo is a different kettle of fish altogether, and there is another thread on the forum regarding why the current release is priced at €75 - I won't bore you by re-hashing it!

Typically this thread is used to highlight opportunities for members to avail of discounts etc. on offer from time to time by various retailers - both high-street and travel.

Cheers,
J.
