What's your latest whiskey purchase?

I've tried it. It's a nice whiskey, but I wouldn't pay that much for it unless it was in a very fancy bottle...

When I've drank all of mine I'll sell you my fancy bottle. I might even fill it with Dunphy's. For a small fee.

I'm counting on it. In fact I've sold futures in it, with the option of a paper for paper transaction to buy it back again via an Isle of Man company. Nothing bad could possibly happen as a result of such financial speculation, could it? If everyone does it the whole country could be rich.

Possibly you could use Achill Island ... Now that it has been pronounced a republic the next step is a tax haven (obvious )

I notice that it is from a single cask yet it is one from 500bottles. And at cask strength would make you think that this limited edition could be from 2 diFferent casks unless it's a sherry butt or something similar. Anybody know???

Eventhough it does say drawn for a single cask...???

Yes probably John ... I was just thinking aloud as you don't often see a 500 bottle run of cask strength from a single cask. And an 18yo to boot where you would imagine significant losses. Well enjoy the 2 of ye ... lucky buggers

An 18 yo single cask, cask strength 'Fiddich for £50 a bottle inc. post. Bargain of the year so far i reckon.
