Jameson Gold Reserve, for St. Patrick's. It didn't last long.

It's one of my favourites, the Jameson Gold.

My latest buys are a Glenfarclas 175th anniversary and a Speyside Region 1969 from the Perfect Dram.

Hi Matt, Where did you get the Jameson St Patrick's Edition? I've been on the look out for one of these.

They sell them in Waitrose in the UK, so you'd imagine they'll be available here, somewhere. In the airport, aren't they?

Hi Adrian, i bought my bottle down at the Midleton Distillery. Dident have a chance to go to Smithfield, but it schuld be ther to.
Left Dublin Airport last Mo.(21,03,11) and the had a good stock of them. But truly i dident see it in any shop douring my tour from south to west. If you get a chance, get it from Duty Free. I paid a good bit more at the Distillery then it was at the Airport. (not because of the Tax)
It was a rip off!!

Over the last few weeks:

2 Midleton 1991 Single Cask PPS from T2 with the assistence of a friend from Hungary, who shall remain nameless.
1 Glenmorangie 1977 (One of my current top 5 Malts - Love it!)
1 Inishturkbeg (I tried to resist but I cracked)
1 Dewars Signature
1 Collection of 5 200ml Glenfiddich's - not really a huge fan of most of what I''ve tried but it's a nice box and I'm willing to give it another chance - they're only 200ml bottles.

And a big ole' pile of miniatures.

My parents came back from the US, I was hoping with a single cask Midleton. But they got a Midleton Very Rare 2009 by mistake. I have never been so disappointed to be handed a Midleton Very Rare. Ah well. I was very grateful anyway.

I've tried it. It's a nice whiskey, but I wouldn't pay that much for it unless it was in a very fancy bottle...

When I've drank all of mine I'll sell you my fancy bottle. I might even fill it with Dunphy's. For a small fee.

Karuizawa for £58. I almost don't care what they taste like, looking forward to these.

I'm counting on it. In fact I've sold futures in it, with the option of a paper for paper transaction to buy it back again via an Isle of Man company. Nothing bad could possibly happen as a result of such financial speculation, could it? If everyone does it the whole country could be rich.

That's a brilliant price. I have one of these. Needless to say, I paid a lot more than you did for them.

Can't see any holes in this. They're going to have to print more money.

I don't know what you paid but BBR have them for £73 - probably getting low by now. The Whiskybarrel guy has 'em at £110, or should i say 'did' - it was taken off today.
