What whiskies did we taste on Thursday 29th?

Postby StephenOC » Wed Feb 04, 2015 9:45 am

Hi folks!

I attended my very first tasting on Thursday 29 at the Gresham and completely forgot to take any notes. Can anyone tell me the the whiskies I forgot please? :) Thank you!

The whiskies I can remember are:

Connemara 22.
Kilbeggan 21.
Palace Bar 14.
Glendalough 7.

That's all I can think of...

Also tasted was a Dunvilles and the Irish Whiskey Muesum 13year old Single Malt.

I'll be updating the website shortly with the information. From what I recall on the voting the Kilbeggan narrowly won over the Connemara and the Palace Bar

That's Great :) I just wanted to write my own notes on what I can remember.

So that's:

Dunville's.
Irish Whiskey Museum's own bottling.
Glendalough 7.
Palace Bar 14 Three Generation.
Kilbeggan 21.
Connemara 22.

Was there not one more? I'm sure I recall a teeling's being in there, too. Maybe my memory is wrong...

Hello

There was a Teelings - The Palace Bar 14 Three Generations is by Teelings. My favourite on the night... :D Great spiciness and orange notes i thought... lovely balance
