The Celtic Whiskey Club has sent out samples of this years Midleton. It'll be Brian Nation's first one.

I tried a little and am well impressed. More spice and less fruit. bd)

I'd like to know how much Pot Still is in the mix. I assume it changes from year to year but don't know.

Well done Mr Nation. I'll recommend they keep you.

Sounds good to me ... I do prefer a bit more spice in the mix.

Might sound strange but I've always felt Midleton VR was a bit too drinkable to be special. very nice whiskey though.

I didn't get the "granny apple" in this one at all. That was very dominant recently I thought. I likd apples but love spice.

Looking forward to getting a bottle now.
