Has anyone else seen this? I watched it last night, but may watch it again more closely.
Part of their 'Modern Marvels' series of documentaries, the History Channel looks at Jack Daniels, Jim Beam, Jameson, The Glenlivet, Stranahan's Colorado whiskey and Canadian Club as examples of how modern whiskey is made.
The Jameson section is interesting. Some good footage inside new Midleton, and an interview with Barry Crockett.
I think it originally aired last year. It has John Hansell of Malt Advocate and a barman from the Brandy Library in Manhattan doing tastings in between the segments.
