New make or 'white whiskey'

Postby wartotojas » Thu Apr 03, 2014 4:40 pm

Hi everybody,

New to this forum, just to quick introduce myself, not a huge fan of whiskey, like to have one or two time to time. Have some spare time and was looking at aging your own whiskey at home kits etc. I could get a small oak barrel no problem, the thing is to find un-aged or white whiskey. It seem to be quite easy to get some in United States or UK, but does anyone know if there are any new make Irish whiskey available anywhere?

Teeling Poitin is at 61.5% abv and is a white whiskey (blend of grain and malt). I have aged some of it in small casks and the results are very nice!
