Is he selling five liter casks for €300????

You can get them for a fraction of that cost. IDL wouldn't pay that for a full bourbon cask.

Yes was thinking same re price but what puzzled me was who would want these?

Maybe unbottle and further mature whiskey - unsure but seems a strange business venture!!

A lot of people mature their own stuff at home. I have a barrel at home since 2011. You can put potin in it, season it, put whiskey in it... But you can get a mini cask for €50 or €60. Maybe less.
