kilbeggan area restaurants

hey. does anyone know of any decent restaurants in or around (preferably within 15mins drive) kilbeggan apart from the pantry restaurant at the distillery itself?

To be honest I have no idea Damien for decent restaurants in that general area and I fear the Panty is pretty much the limit in Kilbeggan itself. Tullamore is a much bigger town and is literally only 10 mins away so I think that would be your best bet. So may be research Tullamore. I know some one from Tullamore so can ask if you like. Athlone would be about 20mins away and possibly have a better selection.

for some reason i thought athlone was further away than it was, think it might be the best bet (and can take a trip to seans bar too).

The Motorway has put paid to that ... Kilbeggan to Athlone is now only a quick hop in the M6.
