Tipperary

I live in Canada. A friend who visited Ireland brought me 2 miniatures of Tipperary whiskey, which i had never heard of before. It was excellent, not at all sweet, perhaps aged in bourbon casks.

Can anyone tell me about this whiskey and if it is available in North America>

I am guessing that these are the ones available in the Celtic Whiskey Shop. They are minis bottled for each county. All the same whiskey. They are all Cooley whiskey. I think they might be like the Kilbeggan brand, or if they are single malt maybe they are Tyrconnell or somerhing similar.

i remember being told it's all standard tyrconnell. I also remember being told its one of CWS's best selling techniques.

Yes I imagine the minis are from Tyrconnell Single Malt, 100% bourbon casks as you correctly guessed with tyrconnells signature fruity & lemon citrus style. Well spotted.
